Port of Tampa Bay – Port Redwing Phase VI New Construction Project

As the Prime contractor, Queen City has begun work railroad construction work for the newly proposed unit train track system that will serve the Port’s Redwing Site. This project was started in December of 2015 and is scheduled to complete in June 2016. This project includes extensive earthwork, drainage and site preparation, as well as the installation of new track work. Queen City will furnish and install 17,800 ft of new track, 5 turnouts, 4 asphalt crossings, 5 concrete crossings, relocate affected utility lines and tie into an existing busy industrial lead serving a power plant and fertilizer loading facility..
