Chemical Company Rehabilitation and Expansion Project

, Southern Region of the U.S.

Queen City is providing rail construction services for the rehabilitation and expansion of an existing manufacturing and distribution terminal at a chemical facility. This includes the installation of more than 32,000 ft of new track, 15 No. 9 turnouts, 3 No. 8 turnouts and 1 No. 15 turnout. As part of this undertaking, Queen City is also installing more than 580 ft of rubber-grade crossings and constructing new concrete crossing panels throughout the facility. Additionally, Queen City is coordinating the installation of track material on the right-of-way for the operating Class I railroad.

Notably, Queen City is working under a tight deadline while maintaining existing operating services. When complete, these improvements will allow for a modernization of an existing facility and will create additional capacities to allow for future growth and enhanced distribution capabilities.
